Jewellery - Alfred Terry

The machine, which has been developed by Cyba Manufacturing Technology Ltd of Cheshire, was extensively trialled by the London Manufacturer, Alfred Terry as part of the European funded 'Silver Project' - a technology transfer initiative masterminded by the Technology Innovation centre (TIC) at the University of Central England. Alfred terry now have three machines in permanent operation making their latest range of contemporary diamond bands.

Jaguar D-Type Wheel - Cuff Links

DuRose Fine Jewellery Ltd, a leading Birmingham Jeweller presented Cyba Manufacturing Technology Ltd with their manufacturing problem.
They required a minature Replica of a Jaguar D-Type Wheel, for Limited Edition Cuff Links. Conventional RP processes could not deliver the accuracy and finish required, because of the small size of the parts.
The models were initially designed with Rhino 3D CAD package and exported as Iges files for Cyba Man Tech Ltd. These were then imported into HyperMill 5-Axis CAD/CAM package. Process stratergies were developed on each part, using standard 3D and 5-Axes Cycles, these were then postprocessed by the Cybaman Post 6-Axes Postprocessor. DuRose Fine Jewelery

Jewellery - Manchester United - Signet Ring

A leading Birmingham Jeweler presented with a manufacturing problem invited Cyba Manufacturing Technology Ltd to conduct a series of trials on a range of signet rings and bands, result is displayed on the side. The signet ring was machined both internally and externally, from solid stock, in one hit within one hour.
